First let me introduce myself. I am a graduate of Penn State University. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in 1999 and received my Master's Degree in Computer Science in 2006.
I have worked at Harrisburg Area Community College since 1973 after completing my Associates degree in Electrial Engineering Technology. For most of those years I worked in Media Services, now Instructional Technology, in the capacity of Audio-Video Engineering Technician. I was in charge of the design, purchase, installation and repair of all of the audio, audio-visual and video equipment owned by the College. In October, 1998 I was reassigned to the temporary position of Report Conversion Coordinator in the Computer Services Department. My job was to begin writing reports from the SCT/Banner College Management Software which has its base in an Oracle Database. I have since accepted a new position at the College in the capacity of Database Query and Report Analyst. I am now in charge of the generation of specialized reports from the Banner System, the training of college staff in the use of Microsoft Access and other training required by the Computer Services staff.
I am also an adjunct faculty member at HACC where I teach FORTRAN and JAVA.
